A memorial Litia was served for all men and women who gave their lives in defence of our country and of freedom and justice everywhere.  We held a short program where Elaine Amiot shared with us her feeling of being in Juno Beach recently.  It made us feel the sacrifices that those we remember today made for us.

On November 7th and 8th His Grace Bishop Ilarion was in Calgary for a Visitation.  Highlights of his visit were Vespers, Heirarchal Divine Liturgy, tonsuring of Dr. Iaroslav, and a festive dinner!  His Grace presented Icons to the children at the end of Liturgy and the Children presented Bishop Ilarion with pictures for the Oprhans in Ukraine.  We honored Stephania Luciuk for her work on the resolutions committee at the Sobor held in Winnipeg this past summer.

On Sunday September 13th we celebrated the new Church year with a pancake breakfast.  Thank you to everyone who helped celebrate this event!

Fr. Evan from St. Michaels Parish in Winnipeg was in town visiting.  Thank you for joining us for Divine Liturgy!

On August 9th we were blessed with a Hierarchal Divine Liturgy cocelebrated by His Eminence, Metropolitan Yurij and His Grace, Bishop Ilarion.

On Sunday July 26th we celebrated our Temple Feast Day!

On June 14th we recongnized our graduates and our acolytes!

Today we celebrated Fr. Taras' 60th Birthday!  May God grant you many years!  Многая Літа!

On June 21st we recognized all of our Church school students with a certificate.  Thanks to all the volunteer teachers, and parents for making this succesful.  And thanks to our children for attending and being such great students!

We were blessed to have the Ukrainian Male Chorus of Edmonton sing responses during Divine Liturgy and perfrom a few songs during our coffee hour.
